Aunt Kit’s DK
 
This is my very favorite yarn to knit and crochet.  It’s soft, warm, and one skein is enough yarn to make my slouchy hat.  I use two strands, pulling one from the center and one from the outside of the cake. (please let me know in the notes if you want me to “cake” it for you, otherwise it ships to you in a skein)
 
I often use this weight for stranded knitting, casting on in multiples of 6 so I can change color every three stitches (see my warm, woolen, winter, hats)

Yards: Approximately 231 yards/100 grams
Fiber: 100% Superwash Merino Wool
Knitting Gauge: 5-5.5 sts = 1" on #5-7 Knitting Needles
Hook Size: 7 to I-9
